The CE-Core Seminar
(Speaker: Profs. Noriaki Kida
& Fumitaka Kagawa)

Outline

The Research Core for Correlated Electrons (CE-Core) aims to perform systematic research, including basic and applied research on correlated-electron science and technology, to promote the next generation of nanoelectronics. This research is based on the research activities and results of the former Correlated Electron Research Center (CERC).

The members of CE-Core consist of researchers from several research groups at the Electronics and Photonics Research Institute, the Flexible Electronics Research Center, the Nanosystem Research Institute, and the Innovation Center for Advanced Nanodevices. CE-Core is therefore an organization in which a number of research fields intersect.

At CE-Core, we intend to explore new electronic materials and the functionalities of correlated electron systems in order to develop new correlated electronic devices. In addition, as part of a research collaboration with RIKEN, we will be conducting the Science and Technology Forum of Correlated Electrons.
