●Using
the Tsukuba Express
Express from Akihabara Station 45 min. Get off at Tsukuba Station. Take
exit A4.
From Tsukuba Bus Terminal Platform No.4
take the Kantetsu Bus for Arakawaoki Station (West Exit) (via Namiki) or
for Ami Chuo Kominkan. Get off at “Namiki 2-chome”, and walk 3 min to AIST Tsukuba Chuo.
You can also take the free shuttle bus
from Tsukuba Station to AIST Tsukuba Chuo. Take the bus from Tsukuba Bus
Terminal Platform No.9 or No.10. (Seats on the microbus are limited, so you
may not be able to get on.) * The service does not run on Saturdays,
Sundays, and holidays.
By taxi it takes about 15 min from
Tsukuba Station to AIST Tsukuba Chuo.
●Using the JR Joban Line

min from Ueno Station. Get off at Arakawaoki Station. West Exit.
From West Exit Platform No.4 take the Kantetsu Bus for
Tsukuba University Chuo or Tsukuba
Center (via Namiki).
Get off at “Namiki 2-chome”, and walk 3 min to AIST Tsukuba
Chuo.
By taxi it takes about 15 min from Arakawaoki Station to
AIST Tsukuba Chuo.
●Using the Joban express bus
From
Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit take the Joban express bus for Tsukuba
Center (about 65 min, one way 1,150 yen). Get off at “Namiki
2-chome”, and walk 3 min to AIST Tsukuba Chuo.

Tsukuba Center - New Tokyo International (Narita) Airport
●Using the Joban Expressway
Get
off at the Sakura and Tsuchiura interchange, turn left for Tsukuba, turn
right at the second traffic light (Sasagi interchange), and turn left at
the third traffic light (Namiki 2-chome).
